CPI Signed a Bauxite Project Development Agreement with The Guinea Government on September

China Power Investment Corporation (CPI) signed a bauxite project development agreement with the Guinea government on September 6, which will promote the social and economic development of Guinea.

The 100 MW of electricity produced by the project's supporting power plant will be supplied to Conakry and its surrounding areas at the cost price and the project, located in Boffa Province, will provide nearly 4,000 jobs for the local people. The ports, roads, power plants and other infrastructure will significantly improve to provide a strong impetus for Guinea's national economic development.
