According to the statistics released by the Turkish Statistical Institute (TUIK), Turkey exported 714,035 tons of rebar in October, rising by 6.7% from a month ago and increasing by 11.6% year on year.
The country's export revenues generated by rebar totaled US$428.9 million, up by 4.5% month on month while falling by 2.1% year on year.
In the first ten months of this year, Turkey's exports of rebar totaled 7 million tons, increasing by 25.1% year on year. The export revenues of rebar amounted to US$4.4 billion, soaring by 19.5% year on year.
In the given period of time, the UAE was the largest importer of the Turkish rebar with 804,986 tons, decreasing by 26.3%; Saudi Arabia was the second largest one with 570,636 tons, jumping by 2.8 times and the US was the third largest one with 415,423 tons, soaring by 115%, all compared to that in the same period of a year ago.
