MRC Global Inc. (NYSE: MRC) announced today that BP Products North America, Inc. has awarded MRC Global a contract for maintenance, repair and operating (MRO) goods and services and the supply of carbon and stainless steel pipe, valves and fittings (PVF) and related materials to BP Refining and Marketing North America. This contract ends in 2018.
Additionally, MRC Global has been awarded downstream contracts by BP Chemicals Limited in the United Kingdom, BP Europa SE –BP Nederland and BP Raffinadererij Rotterdam B.V. in the Netherlands and BP Chembel NV in Belgium. MRC Global will provide BP through these contracts MRO goods and services for the supply of valves in carbon, alloy and stainless steels.

MRC Global currently services BP Refining and Chemical facilities in North America and has been a major PVF supplier for the BP Whiting Modernization Project in Whiting, Indiana. Internationally, MRC Global has been a supplier to BP, providing their valve needs for over 30 years. MRC Global's sales to BP for the past four quarters were approximately $85 million, of which approximately $42 million was for downstream applications.
