Dieffenbacher sold a particleboard mill to the Chinese wood-based panels producer Zhangzhou Hong Wei Woods, which has its main office in Longhai in Fujian province. The contract includes all technology from wood processing to raw board handling systems. Dieffenbacher said that the 2.95 x 2.64m continuous press has an annual capacity of approximately 300,000m³. Start-up is scheduled for September 2013. Hong Wei Woods describes itself as a producer of particleboard, OSB, blockboard, softwood plywood and glue-laminated timber. This order is the seventh wide particleboard plant that Dieffenbacher has sold to China.
