According to data released by the Turkish Statistical Institute (TUIK), Turkey’s exports of hot rolled coils (HRC) totaled 42,205 tons in September, rising by 9.47% year on year but slumping by 22.72% from a month ago. Meanwhile, the country’s HRC export values totaled US$24.48 million in September, falling by 5.47% year on year and decreasing by 18.20% from a month ago. In the first nine months of this year, Turkey’s HRC exports amounted to 1.41 million tons, up by 1.42% year on year. In the give period of time, Italy was the largest importer of the Turkish HRC with 408,389 tons; Portugal was the second largest one with 174,266 tons and Spain was the third largest one with 90,059 tons.
