Yieh Hsing, one of the major steel long product producers in Taiwan released its list prices for June.
The company decided to cut its list prices for wire rods by NT$1,400/ton for June, following the price cut made by China Steel Corp. (CSC), the largest carbon steelmaker in Taiwan.
After the adjustment, its list prices for Al-killed wire rods are at NT$23,100/ton; those for rimmed wire rods are at NT$22,300/ton and those for blast furnace killed wire rods are at NT$21,600/ton.
Industry sources predicted that the transaction prices of wire rods might drop further in the Taiwanese market since raw materials prices might keep falling.
