According to data of Chile's construction chamber (CChC), Chile’s rebar shipments totaled 54,842 tons in April, rising by 11.3% from 49,269 tons in March and increasing by 6% year on year.
In the first four months of this year, Chile’s rebar shipments amounted to 216,149 tons, rising by 7.8% year on year.
Meanwhile, the two major mills that supply rebars in the Chilean domestic markets are CAP Acero and Gerdau.
