Turkish Stainless Steel Market Has Remained Flat Recently Due to Weak Demand

It's reported that the Turkish stainless steel market has remained flat recently due to weak demand, in spite of sharping rising nickel prices.

It's known that the nickel prices started to rebound in early December. The spot nickel prices at LME jumped to US$17,380/ton on December 6th.

However, the Turkish buyers do not rush to purchase at this moment in order to avoid high inventories at end of a year.

For the prospect, it's expected that the stainless steel prices might rise in the Turkish market in next January and February if the nickel prices continue increasing.
