Green Energy Technology Inc.Has Recently Received Increased Number of PV Contracts

Taipei,Sept.28,2012(CENS)--Green Energy Technology Inc.has recently received increased number of photovoltaics(PV)contracts from mainland China solar-system suppliers after the mainland's PV-equipment manufacturers were slapped with costly punitive tariffs by the U.S.government and put under antidumping investigations in Europe.

The company's president,Swean Lin,pointed out that the mainland's contracts have so far accounted for around 20%of the company's revenue,up from nearly zero as the company had long dealt with contracts from Taiwanese buyers.

He said the company's silicon wafers have drawn the mainland's system-equipment suppliers to buy for their efficient 17.6%-17.7%photovoltaic conversion ratio. Some are even willing to pay the company royalty in hope of convincing it to run silicon wafer operation for them.

Lin pointed out that if the company accepts the royalty payment,it would become the world's first PV company to operate silicon wafer business for other manufacturers on royalty charge.Nevertheless, the company has turn down the offer on ground that it may loss trade secrets in such cooperation deal.

Efficient-conversion wafer now accounts for around 60%of the company's sales and is projected to rise to 80%next quarter.

The company chief executive officer,Hurlon Lin,noted that the PV market has become very conservative ever since the U.S.government launched antidumping and anti-subsidy investigations into PV modules imported from mainland China and the uncertainty about European Union's antidumping policy has arouse.

Affected by the conservative market sentiment, the company has scaled down capacity utilization rate to 50%and declined low-price shoppers.
