According to data released by the Japan Iron and Steel Federation (JISF), the country’s exports of steel products totaled 3.545 million tons in November, rising by 16% year on year and increasing by 5.5% from a month ago.
The country’s export revenues generated by steel products totaled US$3.528 billion, decreasing by 7.4% year on year and falling by 6.5% from a month ago.
Among them, the exports of hot rolled coils were at 953,000 tons, soaring by 48.9%; those of galvanized steel coils/sheets were at 402,000 tons, rising by 18.2%; those of welded steel pipes were at 89,000 tons, jumping by 38.8% and those of cold rolled coils/sheets were at 232,000 tons, decreasing by 13.6%, all compared to those in the same period of a year ago.
