Leading home textile suppliers from throughout Asia will look to take advantage of the expanding Southern China market at Intertextile Guangzhou Hometextile China, held from 18 to 22 March 2014.
Located at the China Import and Export Fair Complex in Guangzhou, the fair has been extended by one day this year to meet increasing demand from buyers. Highlights for visitors include the Chinese regional pavilions from Yuhang, Haining, Jiaxing, Nantong and Shaoxing, while international suppliers from Australia, Germany, Indonesia and Taiwan will also be present.
Around 200 exhibitors will display their latest collections of bed, bath, table and kitchen linen, carpets and rugs, upholstery fabrics, wall and window decorations, and more at the fair.
One such exhibitor is Indah Jaya from Indonesia who believes joining the fair could help them achieve their goal of becoming a leading towel brand in Asia, especially in Mainland China. They will showcase their well-known Terry Palmer-branded towels, bathmats and bathrobes that are made from long-fibre Australian and Egyptian cotton, and feature SILVERPLUS antimicrobial technology which helps control odour-causing bacteria.
BF Textiles from Taiwan also agrees that the fair is a great opportunity to meet new customers, and discover the market’s demands and new product trends. They target mid-range buyers with their collection of upholstery for sofas and other furniture, and use materials such as polyester, chenille, linen and suede.
Four concurrent fairs offer more sourcing choices for buyers
In addition to Intertextile Guangzhou Hometextile China, three other fairs are held in the same venue so buyers can maximise their sourcing trip: China International Outdoor & Leisure Fair, Homedecor & Housewares China and China International Furniture Fair (Guangzhou). A further benefit for exhibitors of Intertextile Guangzhou will come from the co-location of the International Furniture Fair, with exhibitors of this fair likely to be sourcing upholstery fabrics while at the fairground.
Intertextile Guangzhou Hometextile China is organised by Messe Frankfurt (HK) Ltd; the Sub-Council of Textile Industry, CCPIT; the China Home Textile Association (CHTA); and the China Foreign Trade Guangzhou Exhibition Corporation.
