Taiwanese Feng Hsin Has Announced The Company Will Hike Rebar Prices for This Week

Feng Hsin, one of the major electric furnace mills in Taiwan, has announced the company will hike its price for rebar, and scrap collection by NT$200/ton and steel section by NT$300/ton in this week. This is the first time that Feng Hsin to rise its new price after the company has kept its price flat for five weeks long. After price rise, Feng Hsin's new rebar base price will be NT$18,200/ton, its new scrap collection price will be NT$11,100/ton and its new steel section base price will be NT$20,200/ton. The rising global scrap price and most of the end users have run out of their rebar stocks are the major reasons for Feng Hsin to lift its price in this week.
