VITA COPENHAGEN introduces new pieces for the Carmina collection
VITA has recently introduced two new colour additions to their lovely Carmina collection of lamps – Baby Rose and Misty Grey, inspired by the trendiest colours of the year 2016.
The VITA Carmina mini baby rose embodies the poetic splendour of fragile blossoming flowers, their gentle and persuasive beauty. This lampshade interlaces different shades of rose quartz, the colour of the year 2016, making sure that it will bring into your home that trendy hot touch you have been looking for.
The VITA Carmina mini misty grey symbolises raw urban nature, the rough and enticing finish of the concrete tones that “paint” the city. Either in a living room or in an office, this lampshade adds to any décor a more masculine touch and a crisp fresh look that arises from its lively grey undertones.
Founder and Chief Creative Developer, Sren Ravn Christensen explains, “Both colours are among the trendy colours of 2016, not only in interiors around the world, but also in fashion. The Carmina family of lampshades is designed in reference to the soft wavy sandy dunes found on the many beautiful shorelines surrounding Denmark. It introduces calm visual lines in an otherwise strict linear approach to the northern simplistic design history.
The new colour additions are two contrasts that complement and enhance each other – just like the serene rose sunset at the end of a bustling day, welcoming the misty grey night.
