Mexico's Plate Imports Decreasing by 26% From a Quarter Ago

According to data released by the Mexican economic secretary, the country's imports of plates totaled 170,160 tons in the third quarter of this year, decreasing by 26% from a quarter ago.

In the third quarter, the country's import values generated by plates totaled US$149.8 million, falling by 22% from the previous quarter.

Meanwhile, Mexico exported 61,125 tons of hot rolled coils in the third quarter, down by 4.7% from the second quarter.
