According to statistics released by the Turkish Iron and Steel Producers Association (DCUD), Turkey's rebar exports exceeded 5.6 million tons in the first eight months of this year, jumping from 4.4 million tons in the same period of a year ago. In the given period of time, Iraq was the largest importer of the Turkish rebar with 772,000 tons, the UAE was the second largest one with 669,000 tons, Saudi Arabia was the third largest one with 491,000 tons and Egypt was the fourth largest one with 353,000 tons.
