Studiotech are installing 982 individual LED Lights within the roof structure at the new £350m development at Trinity Leeds. Studiotech engineered this solution maintaining all the design elements required by BDP and their client at a vastly reduced cost..
Andrew Dudley, who is heading the Trinity Leeds development for Land Securities, said: "This is a state-of-the-art structure of contemporary design that will complement the streetscape of the city centre and add considerably to the look of Leeds by day and night. The roof's lighting scheme will be a spectacular feature which will respond differently from day to night and will become an iconic landmark for Leeds and a real talking point across the city."
The full colour spectrum LED bulbs were switched on to examine the lights capabilities and test the 40 settings that can be re-programmed to create different shapes and auroras for visitors to enjoy when late night shopping at Trinity Leeds, all year round.
Land Securities Trinity Leeds 1 million square foot shopping centre development will be opening its doors to the public on 21st March 2013, the first day of spring. Designed by internationally renowned British architects Chapman Taylor will open its doors to an anticipated 200,000 people of Leeds with a fanfare of entertainment and is set to become one of the UK's biggest retail beacons with a forecast footfall of 23 million visitors in its first year.
