Turkey’s rebar exports totaled 749,927 tons in May, rising slightly by 1% year on year and increasing by 3% from a month ago, according to data released by the Turkish Statistical Institute (TUIK).
The country’s exports values generated by rebar totaled US$443 million in May, decreasing by 8.4% year on year while rising by 3% month on month.
In the first five months of this year, Turkey’s rebar exports amounted to 3.5 million tons, falling by 4% year on year. At the same time, the rebar export revenues dropped by 11.7% to US$2 billion.
