The Gazprom headquarters hosted today a working meeting between Alexey Miller, Chairman of the Company's Management Committee and Slavenko Terzic, Plenipotentiary Ambassador of the Republic of Serbia in the Russian Federation.
The parties addressed the status of the bilateral cooperation in the energy sector. Special emphasis was placed on preparation issues related to launching the construction of the South Stream gas pipeline in Serbia. It was noted that all necessary preliminary procedures were completed and the construction of the first section would start as soon as this month.
