Reportedly, the Taiwanese steel pipe producers adjusted list prices on May 31st.
The steel pipe manufacturers decided to cut steel pipe list prices by NT$600~NT$1,200/ton for June in order to reflect Chung Hung Steel’s price cut.
After the adjustment, the list prices for small-diameter black pipes decreased by NT$1,200/ton; those for pre-galvanized steel pipes dropped by NT$1,100/ton and those for galvanized steel pipes fell by NT$600~NT$900/ton.
It’s known that Chung Hung Steel cut its list prices for hot rolled and cold rolled steel products by NT$600/ton respectively and reduced its list prices for galvanized steel products by NT$1,100/ton.
At the same time, Chung Hung Steel offered certain discounts for buyers, depending on order volumes.
