With the creation of “Little Sun,” Eliasson sets out to influence the world and change the way we think.Little Sun is a small solar-powered lantern that is about the size of your hand.

His focus was small rural communities in Africa who need affordable lighting as some make no more than one or two dollars a day. This lamp can convert 5 hours of daylight into an entire evening of light for living. Buying these lamps at full price in areas with electricity helps Eliasson sell it for less to those who need it most.
