It's reported Essar Steel Algoma has extend its current agreement with its iron ore pellet supplier-Cliffs Natural Resources Inc. from 2016 to 2024. This agreement is pleased to control the pallet cost. Essar Steel Minnesota is also constructing its new iron ore pelletizing plant, meanwhile, Cliff's pellets will be a supplemental supply. The extension agreement provides favorable terms and helps the profitability and sustainability of the business.
