Turkey’s imports of seamless steel pipes totaled 50,739 tons in the second quarter of this year, rising by 5.5% from a quarter ago but falling by 8.25% year on year, according to data released by the Turkish Statistical Institute (TUIK). In the second quarter of this year, Turkey’s seamless steel pipe imports from the CIS totaled 11,207 tons; those from the EU were at 13,332 tons. In the first half of this year, Turkey’s imports of seamless steel pipes amounted to 98,848 tons, up slightly by 0.3% year on year.
