Koro Print, a commercial printer in Rotterdam, The Netherlands, relies on Enumclaw, WA-based Ryno Rollers across their machine line, using rollers manufactured by Rollenco, a Ryno Roller licensee in?Bleiswijk, The Netherlands.
"Since we began using the Rollenco rollers made with Ryno Roller compound, we have seen definite improvements in print quality," says Machel Antuzzi, Koro CEO. "We use the Rollenco/Ryno rollers in a wide range of different presses on our floor, including Heidelberg Speedmasters and specialized machines such as Winkler & Dünnebier and Halm envelope presses."
Although Koro Print has a wide range of equipment, they prefer to use rollers from one supplier. Rollenco recommended different Ryno Roller compounds for different presses, depending upon the specific product being printed. As a result, the company uses rollers made with both Ryno Blue and Ryno Web Red compounds, depending on the exact location in the press.
Rollers made with Ryno Hydrometric compound are used for water rollers, delivering significantly improved ink/water balance and consistency in press runs.
"We also found that roller cleaning is both easier and more thorough than with other aftermarket rollers," says Antuzzi.?"Roller life also appears to be dramatically better than with other options. We attribute our excellent performance to the many Ryno Roller compounds available and the wide range of Shore ratings offered."??
?Ryno Rollers provides roller compounds required by roller manufacturers and remanufacturers around the world. The Ryno line of roller material is highly regarded in the printing industry, as well as in other applications requiring product consistency and reliability. Spill control products offered by Ryno Rollers also find wide application in a variety of industrial environments. All Ryno Rollers compounds and spill control products are made in the United States.?
"Ryno Roller is always gratified to learn of a customer who experiences success with rollers made with our compounds," says Ryno Rollers VP of sales and marketing Roger Giza, discussing the Koro Print installation.?"Rollers manufactured with Ryno Roller compounds are available from aftermarket roller manufacturers around the world."
