Turkish HRC Producers' Export Prices Were Down by US$5/Ton to US$570~US$580/Ton FOB Basis

According to report, the Turkish hot rolled coil (HRC) producers' export prices were down by US$5/ton to US$570~US$580/ton FOB basis last week due to the dollar's appreciation against Turkish lira as well as the demand from European market remain slow. The demand is low due to the New Year holidays as Turkish offers of HRC are also not competitive against other sources. However, demand from Iraq and Iran has increased recently. And its local market offers are around US$600~US$610/ton ex-works basis. Offers from Ukrainian mills were around US$550~US$560/ton CFR Turkey and Russian mills offered at US$575~US$590/ton also CFR basis.
