According to the monthly statistics released by the Turkish Automotive Manufacturers' Association, in November this year Turkey's motor vehicle output totaled 104,014 units increasing by 3% YoY and up 11.4% compared to October this year.
In November, Turkey's passenger car output totaled 52,532 units up 1% its commercial vehicle production amounted to 48,217 units down 9% while tractor production amounted to 3,265 units up 3% all compared to November 2011.
The overall production capacity utilization rate of the Turkish automotive industry in October this year was 76% up compared to the 68% recorded in October this year. In the first 11 months of the year the production capacity utilization rate was also 68%.
Meanwhile, in the first 11 months of this year the country's total motor vehicle output amounted to 1,026,046 units down 9% YoY. Passenger car output in the given period totaled 531,952 while commercial vehicle production stood at 453,433 units decreasing by 10% and 9% respectively both compared to the corresponding period of 2011
