Petrobras recently recognized Tenaris in the framework of the “Best Suppliers of Goods and Services” awards in two categories. First, Tenaris was recognized in the “Long-Term Global Contracts” category in the Campos Basin for the supply of casing and tubing. Then, for a second consecutive year, the sucker rods business received the award in the “Global Contracts” category for Espírito Santo.
Through these awards, Petrobras recognizes the quality of products and services delivered by its suppliers. A committee made up of the national oil company’s professionals evaluated the performance of competitor companies during the period of June 2011 to July 2012.
After participating in the ceremony, Roque Ivaldi, Tenaris Oil and Gas Sales Manager in Brazil, said, “Our performance is the result of diverse areas working together throughout these past years, of our capacity to offer solutions and of frequent meetings with Petrobras.”
Tulio Chipoletti, former Brazil Area Manager said that "Receiving this award from the E&P Campos Basin Group, today the largest region of oil production in Brazil, shows that we are on the right track in terms of quality, deliveries and services. Nothing is better than the customer’s opinion represented by professionals that actually use our products and services, to evaluate our performance and define our next steps.”
Jeslei Neves, Sucker Rods Sales Coordinator in Brazil said that "This is the second year in a row that we have won first place among more than 300 companies. We are maintaining our quality standards and meeting Petrobras’s just-in-time requirements.”
