Cushioning products producer Carpenter Co. is teaming with the Mayo Clinic on a new sleep health initiative.
SleepBetter.org, Carpenter's sleep tips and information website, will add a microsite to host information on the latest in consumer sleep information provided by the Mayo Clinic, officials said. SleepBetter.org will push that content to its online and social media communities, including its nearly 325,000 Facebook fans, the company said.
"We're thrilled to be working with one of the world's most respected sources of public health information," said Dan Schecter, senior vice president of consumer products at Carpenter Co. and the creator of SleepBetter.org. "Mayo Clinic has access to the latest and best sleep information, very often discovered through its own clinical experience and research, and we're ready to help share that with the millions of Americans we speak to every year about the profound benefits of healthy sleep habits."
SleepBetter.org will debut the microsite featuring content from Mayo Clinic in mid-September.
SleepBetter.org is an online resource that creates a forum for visitors to define, discuss and discover solutions to fit their particular sleep needs, Carpenter officials said.
