From 2013, the German medium-sized sawmill company Josef Ziegler will also produce finger-jointed carcassing (KVH) and glulam timber. The new plant building, designed for annual performance of roughly 15,000 m3 in single-shift operations, will be erected on the existing company site in Stein. Building work for the new production hall has already started and commissioning of the plant is scheduled for the third quarter of 2013. The focus of future KVH/glulam timber production is to be on flexible manufacture of small-component lists.
