Several Bedding Introductions Are Scheduled for The Upcoming High Point Market

Several bedding introductions are scheduled for the upcoming High Point Market. Key trends include an accent on accessories as new mattress protectors, toppers and sheets offer new options for bedding retailers.

Bedding producers also continue to add gel to various layers of their sleep sets. Encased coils will remain on the ascent and are featured in a number of configurations as producers seek new levels of comfort.

Below are the various companies and the products they are debuting.

BOYD SPECIALTY SLEEP

Returning to the High Point Market after a nine-year hiatus to introduce major new bedding and sleep accessory programs under the Broyhill and Thomasville brands, which Boyd licensed in April.

Virtually all of the new branded bed collections will be available for immediate shipment.

Boyd also is presenting a program that offers retailers free floor samples, lighted headboard displays and top-of-bed treatments for the new Thomasville and Broyhill products.

Boyd will show a seven-model Broyhill Sensura collection of gel and memory foam beds to retail from $399 to $1,499. The specialty line is designed to fill a void in the industry's gel/memory foam offerings with branded beds that have patented features, quality components and standout aesthetics. Also being shown is a new Broyhill pillow program that features memory foam, gel memory foam and solid gel layers, plus Broyhill 2-, 3- and 4-inch toppers with tri-zoned and perforated gel memory foam layers.

Under the high-end Thomasville brand, Boyd will present two new latex programs: the Thomasville Natural Flex Ultra and Natural Flex Supreme collections, to retail from $999 to $3,999. Both latex lines use patented designs and components, as well as unusual knit fabrics and treatments. New Thomasville Natural Flex sleep accessories include a Talalay latex pillow and two latex toppers at $399 and $699.

Boyd also has four new Thomasville Synchrony air beds available with either a two- or six-chamber core design for retailer flexibility. The beds include varying layers of high density poly, memory and gel memory foams. Synchrony models, retailing from $1,399 to $3,999, come with both auto-fill and memory features activated with a hand-held control.

Finally, Boyd is bringing to market a new 10-inch Responda-Flex memory foam model at a $399 value price point; a contemporary, all-steel black and brushed nickel platform bed at $299, plus two new inflatable occasional beds with inset pumps, each at $199.
