In consideration with the Design Industry in Italy especially within the furniture industry, just last week the annual Milan Furniture Fair has been celebrated. This event is furniture fair and is considered to be the largest Trade fair in the world. The purpose of the trade fair is to show the latest design of furniture, which is participated by almost every country all over the world. The trade fair also aims to give opportunities for those starting furniture designers to present their piece and be known in the industry.

In relation to the Design Industry in Italy, here are some of the latest and trending furniture designs that were presented during the furniture fair and at the same time the highlight of the event. The first highlight of the event was the stone garden. This stone garden was prepared and installed in the courtyards of Palazzo Crivelli that comprises of about 200 tables, which are single stem supported. The concept of the stone garden's design was mimicked from the style of Japanese rock garden.

The String Lights created by Michael Anastassiades is another highlight of the Milan Furniture Fair and Design Week. The concept was conceived from the wires of pylons, which the designer has seen in the train's carriage window. Through what the designer has seen, the wires have divided the landscape and combining that design with the string of lights that are being used in Mediterranean culture as a mark outdoor space for evening parties, the String of Lights was made.

There was also the ottoman furniture with its sphere table that was presented during the event. The highlight of the event also includes the furniture, which was designed by Victoria Wilmotte. The piece was called as the Wilmotte Coffee Tables that incorporates the pattern of white resin and swirled black that results to lively and organic effect.
