According to statistics released by the Metals Service Center Institute (MSCI), the US steel service center shipped 3.1 million short tons of steel products in November, falling by 6.4% year on year. Besides, the stocks of steel products at the US steel service center were at 8.2 million short tons at the end of November, down by 3.3% from a month ago while up by 0.9% year on year. Meanwhile, Canadian steel service center shipped 495,100 short tons of steel products in November, decreasing by 7.4% year on year. At the end of November, the inventories of steel products at Canadian steel service center totaled 1.7 million short tons, increasing by 24.1% year on year.
