New-generation smart phones of Apple iPhone 5S and iPhone 5C began to be on sale in China from September 20, being sold through retail shops of Apple, outlets of China Telecom Corporation Ltd. (NYSE: CHA and SEHK: 0728) and China Unicom (Hong Kong) Ltd. (NYSE: CHU, SEHK: 0762, and SHSE: 600050) as well as other retailers licensed by Apple.
Other countries and territories where new iPhone will be on sale included US, Australia, Canada, France, Germany, Hong Kong, Japan, Puerto Rico, Singapore and England.
iPhone 5S has golden, silver and grey colors for choices by customers, with recommended retailing prices reaching CNY 5,288, CNY 6,088 and CNY 6,888 respectively for 16GB, 32GB and 64GB. iPhone 5C has blue, green, pink, yellow and white colors for choices, with recommended retailing prices reaching CNY 4,488 and CNY 5,288 for 16GB and 32GB.
