Local media reported that Huawei Technologies will sell off 250,000 smart phones in Peru in 2013, more than quintupling 50,000 a year ago, which will help consolidate the leading status of the company in the nation as the number one Chinese brand. Its plan is to become one of the top three mobile phone brands locally before 2015.
So far, Huawei Technologies has edged into top four worldwide and top eight in Peru in terms of branded mobile phones. The increasing demand for smart phones will help the company boost market share in the nation in the future.
