DuPont Packaging Graphics has commercialized its new digital workflow enhancement, DuPont Cyrel DigiFlow, which has been designed to expand the capabilities of digital Cyrel and digital Cyrel FAST to deliver good print quality and productivity.
DuPont Packaging Graphics global technical manager Tracy Lunt said Cyrel DigiFlow tool improves solid ink densities and print contrast, while maintaining the image quality associated with Cyrel.
Cyrel is a simple modification to the existing line of DuPont exposure units and will add a chamber that allows the creation of a controlled atmosphere during the main exposure allowing one-to-one reproduction of image elements on the plate.
The Cyrel DigiFlow exposure units can easily be switched off when the standard digital dot is the preferred result and were designed for use on an 'as-needed' basis.
DuPont Packaging Graphics supplies flexographic plate-making systems in digital and conventional formats.
