At the New York International Auto Show (NYIAS), we saw dozens of new and improved cars. To help make sense of it all, Consumer Reports' automotive engineers Tom Mutchler and Gabe Shenhar discuss the highlights in the latest episode of our video podcast called "Talking Cars with Consumer Reports."
During the media days we attended, the hyperbole was cranked to 11, with manufacturers all claiming to offer best this and class-leading that. In reality, most barely moved the needle in predictable ways. Our guys give in-depth coverage from Consumer Reports' perspective. Look for riffs about the blatant car-show abuse of the term "all-new", why Honda might want to give up on "concept" cars, an ode to the new Chevrolet Camaro Z/28 from muscle-car-loving CR staffer Mike Quincy, and a not-so-fond farewell to the Jeep Liberty.
