The imports of Indonesian laterite via Ganyu Port in Lianyungang grew substantially.
From January to August, the imports of Indonesian laterite via Ganyu Port hit more than 2 million tons. The imported laterite are mainly used as raw materials for Chinese stainless steel companies to be expected to ease the tight supply of raw materials for the nickel processing industry in north Jiangsu Province and south Shandong Province.
