Villareal is presenting his latest large-format digital light sculptures in an exhibition entitled ‘context’ at the Connersmith Gallery in Washington DC from the 4th to the 9th of December 2012 as a part of Art Miami. Leo Villareal uses LED technology to explore the scale, pattern, color and light.
The artist aims to offer mesmerizing experiences through digital means from a historical art standpoint but ultimately presents a new vision of art that responds and relates to the innovations of the twenty-first century and reflects our contemporary experience.
