ISO14001:2004 Is a Global Specification Designed to Measure and Limit Environmental Impact

Osiris Projects achieves ISO14001 accreditation for their Environmental Management System Tuesday, Dec 03, 2013 Specialist hydrographic and geophysical survey company Osiris Projects today announces their environmental management system has been awarded ISO14001 accreditation certified through NQA.

Following the award of OHSAS18001 earlier this year for their health and safety management system, the award of ISO14001 is the result of a dedicated programme of improvements to the way the company operates. ISO14001:2004 is a global specification designed to measure and limit environmental impact through significantly reducing energy and raw materials consumption, while lowering production of waste. As part of these improvements, the company now recycles more than 90% of office generated waste.

Survey Manager Gustav Pettersson comments "As a business we are committed to reducing our environmental impact while continuously improving our internal systems and processes, enabled by our integrated management system which now incorporates ISO14001. These improvements are not only beneficial to Osiris Projects but also to our clients and suppliers."
