According to media report that Azerbaijan government has officially determined in presidential order to set up the state owned Azerbaijan Steel Production Complex that will possess the production capability from iron ore mining and processing all the way to steel production in Ganja city and in the Dashkasan region. Under the order, the Company performs the design, construction and management of the steel producer complex in the territories of Ganja city and Dashkesan region. Earlier, private Baku Steel Company has entered into contracts for the reconstruction of Dashkesan Mining and other companies to create its own steelworks and machine-building complex in Ganja.
