The World Trade Organization Faces an Uncertain Future

The world trade organization (WTO) will soon celebrate its 20th anniversary birthday, but someone worried about its life was at stake, because it does not address imbalances between developing countries and developed countries. Since from the Second World War, nearly 160 countries have joined the WTO now. Two-thirds of them is developing countries, which in order to enjoy the most-favoured-nation treatment. And some critics said that the unlimited free trade is only good for industrialized countries, but developing countries have no chance to show themselves in front of the developed countries.
