Russia Considers China as The Agricultural Products Selling Market

Although Russia has rich land resources, but it's agricultural is unable to meet the needs of the domestic market due to the relatively backward level of agricultural production.

The director-general of Russia's federal ministry of agriculture economy and agro-industry Anna Tory CenKe said that for Russian agriculture, China is the first sales market. He stressed: "this is the second task after replacing imports. We consider Asia as the agricultural products market of Russia."

As the world's leading producer and consumer of agricultural products, China and Russia are each other's important trading partners of agricultural products.

The agricultural exports from Shandong to Russia are $370 million before August this year which increased 15.1%. Commerce officials of Shandong province department said that the growth trend will continue if the channel structures between Russia and Shandong is smoothly.
