Chinese government decided to postponed the porn purchasing and storage plan to the end of May. Peasant households have more time to sell corn plant. Before that, the breakout of bird flu cracked down the corn's demand.
The State Administration of Grain expressed that peasant households have hoarded large numbers of corn, part of which has a high moisture as result of frequent rainfall in the end of last year.
The number of porn purchasing and storage in Chinese domestic main production area is higher than expexted, which led to the tight supplies and rise of corn's price, said China National Grain & Oils Information Center.
It remians a lower temperture than usual in the northeast part of China and the weather is wet. Thus, the corn cultivation was delayed by 10 days.
