Deputy Director of China Investment Promotion Agency Zhang Yuzhong met with Vice Chairman of China-Britain Business Council Dr. Giles Blackburne and his delegation in CIPA on the morning of August 5, 2015. They held in-depth talks on bilateral cooperation in the future.
Chairman of CBBC China Jeff Astle firstly introduced the cooperation between the China-Britain Business Council and China Investment Promotion Agency at present. Then Dr. Giles Blackburne introduced the situation of “China’s outbound investment projects” and “China’s Outbound Investment Conference 2015” , CBBC Chairman Lord Sassoon and board members’ visit to China in November and also expressed the intention of cooperation with CIPA. Deputy Director of CIPA Zhang Yuzhong welcomed the visit of Dr. Giles Blackburne and his delegation and briefly introduced CIPA’s main functions. Zhang said the CIPA has maintained good cooperative relations with the CBBC for long, and would like to provide support for the investment promotion activities hosted by CBBC. He extended great welcome to the CBBC’s visit in November. Zhang applauded CBBC’s cooperation with CIPA in jointly building the “service platform for China’s going global”. He also invited the CBBC to continue to support and participate in “China International Fair for Investment and Trade (Xiamen)” and “dialogue on open economy and investment” hosted by the CIPA and further the mutual understanding and bilateral cooperation.
