On April 9, the President of China Society for World Trade Organization Studies Sun Zhenyu met with the visiting Canadian Ambassador to WTO Jonathan Fried, the Ambassador to China Guy Saint-Jacques, and the Commercial Counselor Jodi Robinson.
The two Parties had an in-depth discussion and exchanged views on issues like multilateral and bilateral trade negotiations, regional trade agreements, China-Canada economic and trade cooperation, and the interests of common concern in the complicated China-Canada trade relations against the current international background.
The meeting was also attended by the Deputy Dean of China Institute for WTO Studies of University of International Business and Economics Tu Xinquan and the Researcher Lu Xiankun, the Director of China Center for International Development of Nankai University Zhao Longyue, and the Deputy Secretary General and the Office Director of China Society for World Trade Organization Studies Gong Heping.
