With streaming media giants such as Netflix and HBO entering the Nordic market, Sweden's public broadcasting company felt pressure and started to charge broadcasting service fee for smartphone and tablet users.
In Sweden, TV users must pay 137 SEK per month (about $ 27) as service charge to Sveriges Television, Sveriges Radio, and education programs called Utbildningsradion.
