THE Immigration Department has started investigating union concerns that Syntheo may have misused the 457 skilled temporary migration visa scheme in the process of fulfilling its contract with NBN Co.
The Communications Electrical and Plumbing Union is investigating the pay and conditions awarded to a group of Filipino technicians Syntheo has employed using 457 visas.
