Some 2.12 million counterfeit toys were seized in Europe in 2011 - a whopping 15 per cent of which were confiscated in Romania.
In fact, over half of all counterfeit toys seized in Europe (57.11 per cent) were detained in five countries – Romania, Germany, France, Spain and Bulgaria.
These countries seized just over one million fakes throughout the year.
These figures don't indicate where most fake toys were manufactured or delivered to, only where they were spotted and detained.
In the map below, you can see each country's percentage of counterfeit toys detained, in terms of the European total, as well as the number of fake toy units seized.
For example, the UK seized 2.02 per cent of all fake toys detained in Europe in 2011 (42,967 units).
