2015 China Textiles and Garment Fair (Europe) Opens in Dusseldorf, Germany

On July 29, the 2015 China Textiles and Garment Fair (Europe), sponsored by the Ministry of Commerce opened in Dusseldorf, Germany. China’s Consul General to Dusseldorf Feng Haiyang, the official from the Foreign Trade Development Bureau of the Ministry of Commerce, the Deputy Mayor of the Dusseldorf municipality, and the Chairman of the Dusseldorf Group attended the opening ceremony.

The fair covered 3,000 square meters, attending it were more than 100 enterprises from Beijing, Tianjin, Hebei, Inner Mongolia, Liaoning, Shanghai, Jiangsu, Zhejiang, Henan, Shandong and Guangdong.. The products exhibited included men and women’s clothing, children’s garments, underwear, swimsuit, hats, scarves, materials and fabrics and home textiles. 12335 one-stop service areas were provided at the exhibition, in order to offer consultant services to the participating Chinese enterprises with regard to the business activities in Germany.

Europe is a major export market for China’s textile and garment. According to China’s customs, China’s export of textiles and garment to Germany in 2014 was US$ 11.4 billion. To meet the demands of China’s textile and garment industry, the China Textiles and Garment Fair (Europe) is built as a platform to set up the image of China’s products and enterprises through intense and focused publicity and exhibition, and to seek and establish new trade channels with the aid of the fair.

The fair was undertaken by the Foreign Trade Development Bureau, cooperating with China Tax Advertising and Exhibition Co.,LTD.
