Adam Frelin has a new way of illuminating the outdoors with lights. Begone old lamp posts and say hello to the fluorescent light line. This long line of fluorescent lights has been strung along a steel cable and spans across an entire valley. ?There is no center structure to hold the light line's middle weight, this has created a slightly bowed formation that reaches all the way across two hills of a Wyoming cattle ranch.

This was all part of the design, i.e. not an accidental bow, in an effort to mimic the curve of the valley's floor that is located 50-feet below.

The manner in which this Wyoming valley shines with light seems almost supernatural in appearance. The American Embassy for the International House of Japan commissioned the same piece by Frelin to be used in a Japanese garden. The "White Line (Tokyo)" created outstanding light effects that transformed their Japanese garden into an otherworldly, psychedelic outdoor wonderland.
