The standard of Safety of Household and Similar Electrical Appliances--Particular Requirements for Heat Pumps,Air-conditioner and Dehumidifier has been released and taken effect on May. 1st, 2013 (GB4706.32-2012), hereinafter referred as new standard, and the related standard Household and Similar Electrical Appliances-Safety Part 1:General Requirements also has been implemented. The details on version changing are as following.
1.The applicant can choose voluntarily to use GB4706.32-2012 or GB4706.32-2004 since the new version released until May. 1st, 2013.
2. CQC will adopt new standard to implement and issue certificate since May. 1st, 2013. For clients who hold old version certificates should submit the changing application since the new version released and before next inspection, taken differentia test then it will be issued new version certificate after qualified. Certificate change should be completed before May. 1st, 2014. The certificates will be suspended if the change is overdue, and CQC will withdraw the certificates for those cannot complete certificate changes before Aug. 1st ,2014.
3. The applicant can choose voluntarily whether to use the draft for approval since this notice released until GB4706.32-2012 printed version published (new version certificate temporarily can not issued by draft for testing results). After printed version published, if there are many differences between printed and draft version, it should be taken differentia test, if there is no need to test, CQC will issue new certificate as soon as possible.
